Chiefs Unveil Home And Away Kits For Next Season

Kaizer Chiefs has launched its new jersey collection with Italian brand Kappa for the 2025/26 season.
This marks the club’s third year with the Italian sportswear brand, and the new kit promises another striking set of strips for Amakhosi to wear on the field.
The Glamour Boys will debut their new home and away kits this coming Saturday, 26 July, when they face Asante Kotoko of Ghana in the first official friendly match – the Toyota Cup. This highly anticipated match will be hosted at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
“It promises to be a great season ahead, with the club celebrating our 55th anniversary by winning a major trophy and qualifying for CAF competition, which were some of the goals we had set for ourselves when the year started,” said Jessica Motaung, who is Chiefs marketing and commercial director.
“With this in mind, we returned to our roots with the home jersey, staying true to the colors we are known for.”
“The away jersey always allows us to play around a bit, and we are proud of the camouflage-like design that represents the shields and garments worn by Africans during traditional events,” she added.
“It’s a symbol of fashion, art, and creativity that will be worn by hardcore football fans as well as general fashion enthusiasts.”
“The process of designing and selecting the kits for the team during our first two seasons with Kappa has been wonderfully creative, and the response from supporters has emphatically confirmed that. We expect an even better response this year.
“As we say, the jersey doesn’t just play, it represents. We have come up with jerseys that the players will find comfortable to play in while looking resplendent when they take to the field this season.”
“With the new jerseys, tracksuits, polo shirts, t-shirts, bags, and caps, Amakhosi supporters are guaranteed to draw envious glances from opposition fans for their style and panache,” Motaung concluded.
The merchandise will be available for purchase from Kaizer Chiefs Retail at the Village in Naturena, Kappa retail stores nationwide, online, and at other leading sporting retailers starting Monday, 21 July.
“Given the tough economic times we live in, we have kept the jersey price the same as last season to ensure that as many supporters as possible can get these stylish jerseys for the upcoming season,” says Ricky Joseph, Director at Kappa South Africa.
