CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki: “A Defining Season for the Proteas”
CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki expressed excitement about hosting three cricketing powerhouses.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming Australia, Bangladesh and England. These tours will draw fans from across the country and deliver a vibrant, competitive summer of international cricket,” said Moseki.
He emphasised the importance of the season in the context of the ICC World Test Championship and long-term ODI planning:
“We have made a promising start to the new WTC cycle, including a 1-1 series draw against Pakistan and a 2-0 victory over India. We must build on that momentum and strengthen our position on the WTC table.
“On the white-ball front, our focus is firmly on preparations for hosting the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2027. Every ODI series forms part of that journey.”
