AmaZulu Add Two New Signings
AmaZulu have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Gustavo Vieira Lopes from Mozambican side Ferroviário da Beira, where he enjoyed two successful seasons.
Lopes is a versatile player who can also operate in defensive midfield and made 45 appearances in all competitions during his time with the club.
He joins AmaZulu, coached by Arthur Zwane, who are currently sitting fifth in the Betway Premiership.
The Brazilian links up with Usuthu alongside Mason Mushore and Tashreeq Manuel, whose moves were recently reported by this website. However, Manuel’s signing is yet to be officially announced by the club.
Meanwhile, AmaZulu have also confirmed the signing of midfielder Luyolo Slatsha, who joins as a free agent following his release from Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City.
The 23-year-old adds further depth to Zwane’s squad ahead of the remainder of the season.
