Durban Derby Headlines Nedbank Cup Last-Eight Fixtures
There will be a Durban derby in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals after Golden Arrows were drawn against Durban City FC.
AmaZulu FC, who last reached the final in 2010, will take on giant-killers Casric Stars. Stars stunned Orlando Pirates on penalties in the round of 16 at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday.
Sekhukhune United, runners-up in the 2022/23 season, will face Motsepe Foundation Championship leaders Milford FC.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy — who famously became the first lower-division side to win the trophy in 2018/19 after defeating Kaizer Chiefs — will meet ABC Motsepe League outfit Jacksa Spears.
Galaxy also claimed another major scalp in the previous round, eliminating Mamelodi Sundowns in the round of 16 on Saturday.
The quarter-final matches are scheduled for 7 and 8 March, with venues to be confirmed by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following consultations with the clubs.
