Mmodi Confident Chiefs Can Secure Top-Four Finish

Kaizer Chiefs attacker Pule Mmodi remains confident that his team can secure a top-four finish in the Betway Premiership 2024/25 season.

The Theunissen-born player, a consistent performer for the Glamour Boys, has made 46 appearances and scored four goals.

With eight matches remaining this season, Chiefs currently sit in eighth place with 28 points. However, Mmodi is optimistic that they can win their remaining games and climb into the top four.

“We’re currently eighth on the table, but we still have a chance to finish in the top four,” said Mmodi on Chiefs website.

“We’ll be facing teams that are above us, and that’s a great opportunity for us to make up ground,” he added.

The winger, who joined Chiefs from Golden Arrows, their upcoming opponents at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday (15:30), acknowledged the initial challenges he faced adapting to the new coaches and staff.

He also attributed his current form to his hard work and dedication.

“At the beginning of the season, I faced challenges adapting to the new coaches and staff,” he said.

“However, I think for me to be on form at this time of the season is because I have been working hard and improving where I was lacking.”

Chiefs will aim to return to winning ways when they face Arrows in Durban, seeking to avenge their defeat in the reverse fixture at the same venue in January.
