Magesi FC, Milford, And Cape Town City To Be Involved In The Playoffs

Magesi FC secured their place in the Premier Soccer League promotion/relegation playoffs, set to run from 26 May to 13 June, after edging Richards Bay 1-0 on Saturday.
Magesi went into the clash rooted to the bottom of the table with 21 points. However, the crucial victory lifted them out of the automatic relegation spot, leaving Orbit College at the foot of the standings and relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Joining the playoffs from the second tier are Milford FC and Cape Town City. City finished second in the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings with 54 points, level with third-placed Milford, as both sides earned another opportunity to secure top-flight football next season.
City will be aiming for redemption after narrowly missing promotion in last season’s playoffs.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates were crowned Betway Premiership champions for the 2025/26 season following their victory over Orbit at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.
Kruger United also celebrated promotion to the top flight after winning the Motsepe Foundation Championship title.
