Soweto Derby Tickets Go On Sale
Tickets have officially gone on sale for the 185th Soweto Derby between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, scheduled for Saturday, 31 October, at FNB Stadium.
Reigning Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates host the blockbuster clash looking to extend their dominance after taking four points off Amakhosi last season en route to claiming their first league title in 14 years.
As the second leg ended to a 1-1 draw, in their previous encounter on 28 February, Pirates stormed to a commanding 3-0 victory behind goals from Tshepang Moremi, Oswin Appolis, and Evidence Makgopa.
That historic result marked the first time Chiefs suffered a 3-0 derby defeat since the MTN8 semi-finals in October 2020. In league competition, it was Amakhosi’s heaviest derby loss since 2001, when the late Lesley Manyathela scored a brace alongside Benedict Vilakazi.

With a crowd of 90,000 expected at FNB Stadium, supporters are urged to secure tickets early via authorized vendors ahead of 31 October.
