Bok Duo Rushed Back To Face All Blacks At Loftus

The Vodacom Bulls have received a timely boost ahead of their clash against the All Blacks at Loftus Stadium on Saturday, with two Springboks forwards added to their squad for the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry warm-up match.
The Bulls have welcomed the return of forwards Elrigh Louw and Johan Grobbelaar, who were part of the Springboks side that defeated Argentina in Buenos Aires in the Nations Championship on Saturday.
The duo has been released by the national team to gain more game time ahead of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series.
The All Blacks, who will face the Springboks after Saturday’s match as part of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour, have won both of their franchise matches in South Africa so far.
They defeated the Stormers in Cape Town before beating the Sharks in Durban.
“Having been released to get more game time ahead of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series, Springboks Elrigh Louw and Johan Grobbelaar have been drafted into the Vodacom Bulls’ squad for tomorrow’s match against the All Blacks,” the Bulls said in a statement.
“They will play off the bench as they have had just a single training session with the team after travelling back from Argentina.”
Bulls coach Johan Ackermann welcomed the pair’s inclusion.
“It’s great to have them with us, and we’re looking forward to the challenge,” said Ackermann.
The All Blacks will also face the Lions during their tour of South Africa, before their final match against the Springboks in Baltimore.
