Bulls Triumph Over Leinster, Face Glasgow Warriors In URC Final
The Vodacom Bulls held their nerve in a nail-biting Vodacom United Rugby Championship (URC) semi-final against Leinster at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
They secured a hard-fought 25-20 victory while witnessing the Glasgow Warriors defeat defending champions Munster at Thomond Park. This sets up the Bulls’ first-ever home grand final in the competition.
The Bulls displayed immense grit against a determined Leinster side. Three tries to Leinster’s two, two of which came from Sergeal Petersen, propelled the Bulls forward. Despite a first-half yellow card, they snatched victory. Meanwhile, Glasgow’s two tries to Munster’s one saw them eliminate the Irishmen and deny them a home final despite finishing the pool stages as top seeds.
The grand final will take place at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, 22 June (18:00).
