Exciting Nedbank Cup Quarterfinal Matchups Set

The Nedbank Cup quarterfinals have produced some exciting matchups, with SuperSport United set to face defending champions Orlando Pirates.
Pirates will be aiming for their third consecutive title in the competition.
Durban City, the only remaining team from the Motsepe Foundation Championship, will host 2021/22 finalists Marumo Gallants.
Kaizer Chiefs, whose last Nedbank Cup victory was in 2013, will travel to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch FC.
Mamelodi Sundowns, who were defeated by Pirates, will play the winner of the postponed Royal AM/Milford FC vs. Sekhukhune United match. Royal AM’s round of 32 tie against Milford FC was postponed, and the winner will advance to play Sekhukhune United. With Royal AM facing potential liquidation, Milford FC is likely to receive a walkover in the first round and subsequently face Sekhukhune. The winner of that match will then play Sundowns in the quarterfinals.
The quarterfinal matches will be played on March 8th and 9th.
