Pirates Bid Farewell To Riveiro In Style

Orlando Pirates brought the curtain down on Jose Riveiro’s tenure as their coach in grand fashion, thrashing Golden Arrows 3-0 in a thrilling Betway Premiership match at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Buccaneers’ victory marked the end of Riveiro’s three-year stay at the club, during which he accumulated an impressive five trophies, including three MTN8 titles and two Nedbank Cup titles.

Tshegofatso Mabasa, Bandile Shandu, and Kabelo Dlamini scored the goals that sealed the win for Pirates, who dominated the match from the onset.

During his time at Pirates, Riveiro led the team to the semifinals of the CAF Champions League, where they narrowly lost to Pyramids this season.
