Sundowns Put Adams Loan Market Ahead Of January Transfer Window

Mamelodi Sundowns has placed midfielder Jayden Adams on the transfer market, with the Brazilians open to loan talks in the January transfer window, Sportswire has learned.

No specific teams have been identified to take Adams on loan, but Sundowns are willing to initiate discussions with any PSL club interested in signing the 24-year-old midfielder on loan.

According to Sportswire sources close to Sundowns, coach Miguel Cardoso believes Adams is a talented player who could offer significant value to Sundowns in the future.

However, due to the tight competition in the midfield, Adams has struggled to get game time this season, prompting the club to consider loaning him out to gain regular playing time elsewhere.

Adams joined Sundowns in January last season from Stellenbosch, where he was a regular player. During his first season with Sundowns, he was also a regular starter, but this term, he has found it challenging to break into the starting lineup.

The lack of game time has also affected his international prospects, with Adams losing his place in the Bafana Bafana squad. Coach Hugo Broos cited Adams’ lack of playing time as the reason for not selecting him in the squad.
