Ngwenya Confident Of Goal-Scoring Success At AmaZulu

AmaZulu’s new forward, Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, feels optimistic that, despite the Betway Premiership being competitive and fast, he will score many goals.

The Zimbabwean international was on the score sheet in their 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United on Wednesday.

The striker was signed during the off-season by Usuthu from FC Platinum, which participates in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League in Zimbabwe.

“Betway is different from the Zimbabwean League. It’s so fast and competitive, and I’m adjusting well. I think I’m going to score many goals,” said Ngwenya.

Meanwhile, AmaZulu currently sit in sixth spot with seven points after four games and will look to climb up the table when they play Magesi at Seshego Stadium on Saturday.

Ngwenya has stated that they look to go all out and get the three points in this encounter.

“We are playing Magesi, and it’s an important game, and we are going to put everything on it,” said Ngwenya.

“We’re going to fight for everything, we’re going to fight for a win, fight for our coach, fight for our fans. The game we played against Sekhukhune, we were supposed to win that game, we missed many chances, and we’re going to work on it and come to this game prepared to bury those chances.”
