TS Galaxy Secure Former Sundowns Defender
TS Galaxy have completed the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Sifiso Ngobeni as a free agent.
The Rockets will officially unveil the 29-year-old left-back on Saturday in Pretoria alongside the club’s other new signings ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign.
Ngobeni enters the Rockets’ setup with a decorated pedigree, boasting three league titles from his tenure with Mamelodi Sundowns.
The powerhouse defender originally joined Chloorkop from Bloemfontein Celtic ahead of the 2021/22 season, later gaining valuable top-flight mileage during a loan spell with AmaZulu FC.
The Mamelodi-born fullback has racked up 93 appearances across all competitions since his professional debut in the 2019/20 season.
Known for his defensive work rate, Ngobeni has contributed four career assists and remains on the hunt for his first professional goal.
After parting ways with Sundowns and briefly testing the market, his move to Bernard Parker’s side offers Galaxy crucial championship experience across the backline.
