Back Where It All Started: AmaZulu Confirm The Return For Maduna

AmaZulu has confirmed the re-signing of midfielder Siphesihle Maduna from TS Galaxy, bringing the 26-year-old back to the club where he launched his professional career.

Maduna returns to Durban following a standout 2025/26 campaign with TS Galaxy, where he made 35 appearances across all competitions and helped lead the Rockets to the Nedbank Cup final against Durban City.

Sportswire previously reported that Kaizer Chiefs was interested in the playmaker, but the KwaZulu-Natal side has now officially sealed his homecoming.

After leaving AmaZulu for Cape Town Spurs in 2024, Maduna successfully reignited his career at TS Galaxy, registering 55 total appearances over two seasons.

Maduna originally rose through the AmaZulu youth ranks before making his senior debut in the 2017/18 season. In his first spell with Usuthu, he featured 86 times, contributing seven goals and six assists.
