Billiat Joins A New Club In Zimbabwe

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns Star Khama Billiat Joins Scottland FC in Zimbabwe.

Reports from Zimbabwe indicate that former PSL star Khama Billiat has signed with newly-promoted Premier Soccer League side Scottland FC.

Billiat joins Scottland after spending the previous season with Yadah FC following his departure from Kaizer Chiefs in 2023.

Owned by Member of Parliament Pedzisayi “Scott” Sakupwanya, Scottland FC has made significant moves during the off-season, including the acquisition of 2024 Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona from reigning champions Simba Bhora.

The 34-year-old enjoyed a successful career in South Africa, winning three league titles, the Nedbank Cup, the Carling Knockout Cup, the CAF Champions League, and the CAF Super Cup with Mamelodi Sundowns between 2013 and 2018. He joined Sundowns from Cape Town Spurs.

Billiat was named the PSL Footballer of the Year in the 2015/16 season, the same year Sundowns won the CAF Champions League. He scored 48 goals in 144 matches for Sundowns and 24 goals in 126 matches for Chiefs.

In total, Billiat made 362 appearances in the PSL for Sundowns, Chiefs, and Spurs, scoring 95 goals and providing 96 assists.
