Chippa United bolsters their attack with the signing of former TS Galaxy winger Aphelele Teto.

Teto spent last season with Scottish club Livingston but was unable to secure a work permit, hindering his chances of playing a single match. Livingston, impressed by his talent, are reported to have been frustrated by the permit situation.

Loan rumors circulated, with a return to TS Galaxy a possibility, but Teto remained sidelined. With his talent going unused in Scotland due to work permit limitations, Chippa swooped in to secure his services.

The details of the transfer remain unclear, with no confirmation on whether it’s a permanent signing or a loan deal from Livingston.

Teto, promoted by Galaxy for the 2021/22 season, made just 19 appearances for the team. He joins Andile Jali and Giovanni Philander as Chippa United’s third signing this season.
