Eswatini striker Justice Figuareido is set to complete his move to Chippa United.

Sportswire has learned that Figuareido is expected to be among the new players unveiled by Chippa either today (Friday) or in the coming days.

The 26-year-old striker, represented by QT Sports, spent two seasons with KwaZulu-Natal-based Richards Bay, having joined them from All Stars ahead of the 2023/24 season. He played a crucial role in helping Sifiso Biyela’s club achieve a top-eight finish last season, their highest ever in the club’s history.

Figuareido, who has also played for Mbombela United and TS Galaxy, scored six goals and provided three assists in 52 matches during his time with Richards Bay.

The Eswatini international, who previously featured for Maritzburg United (now Durban City), will be reunited with his former coach Sinethemba Badela.

Badela coached Figuareido at All Stars and was recently named Chippa United’s new coach following Thabo September’s departure. Badela joins Chippa after serving as assistant coach for Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca last season.
