Grobler Opens About Early-Season Form

Veteran striker, Bradley Grobler, has provided an update on life at Sekhukhune United, after a strong start to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.

The former SuperSport United talisman has enjoyed a fruitful return of six goals in eight league games, with his side on top of the log standings, two points ahead of second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, with a game in hand.

The 37-year-old joined Babino Noko on a one-year deal in July.

“I think I came into the right club, you know, I think the quality within the team and creating chances, you know, has been good. There are a lot of things I’ve learnt about this team, the club, and the players. So yes, it was a good move for me, and it’s something that I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen for the rest of the season,” said Grobler.

Grobler, 37, has already scored double the number of goals he scored in all competitions last term, if you factor in his two strikes in the MTN8 earlier this season.

The striker also praised the balance of youth and experience they’ve got in the squad and implored them to continue in the same vein of form.

Whether his form has rubbed off on his teammates or vice versa, few would’ve conceived the idea of seeing the side which finished fourth last season, as the early pace setters this campaign.

“It has been a good start, from the time I came in preseason, even last season, and a few seasons ago playing against this club was not easy, so I think the potential has always been here,” added the current Betway Premiership top goal scorer.

The striker will be hoping to help his side maintain their momentum as they take on Polokwane City on Saturday.
