Ouaddou And Ndlovu Shine In PSL Monthly Awards

Golden Arrows rising star Siyanda Ndlovu and Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou have been named the Betway Premiership Monthly Awards winners for September and October, marking the first-ever accolades for both individuals in the competition.

The winners were chosen by an independent panel comprising PSL-accredited journalists and broadcasters.

Ouaddou scooped the Betway Premiership Coach of the Month award after guiding Orlando Pirates to a flawless run during the two-month period. Under the former Moroccan international, the Buccaneers recorded three wins from three matches, climbing the league table in the process.

Ouaddou’s tactical approach earned widespread praise, with Pirates excelling both offensively and defensively, winning all three games without conceding a single goal.

Meanwhile, Golden Arrows midfielder Siyanda Ndlovu continued his superb form by walking away with both the Betway Premiership Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards.

The 23-year-old has been instrumental in Abafana Bes’thende’s strong performances, scoring three goals and providing three assists in five matches over the two-month period.

Ndlovu’s spectacular solo effort and composed finish against Stellenbosch FC on 22 October in Cape Town earned him the Goal of the Month title. His strike edged out strong contenders, including Marumo Gallants’ Jaisen Clifford’s goal against Kaizer Chiefs and Thabang Mathuludi’s last-minute winner for Polokwane City against Chippa United.
