Siwelele FC Appoints Seema As Head Coach

Newly-formed club Siwelele Football Club has officially appointed Lehlohonolo Seema as their new head coach.
Seema had been without a club since leaving Sekhukhune United before the end of last season, despite the team holding a strong fourth-place position.
Siwelele acquired the status of SuperSport United, a club that was managed by caretaker coach Andre Arendse last season. Arendse took over after SuperSport United dismissed Gavin Hunt due to a string of poor results.
“We’re proud to announce Lehlohonolo Seema as the new Head Coach of Siwelele Football Club. A new chapter begins,” Siwelele stated in an official announcement.
The announcement featured a picture of Seema alongside Stan Matthews, who will continue in his role as CEO, a position he held with SuperSport United for many years.
Siwelele FC, which plans to play some of its home games in Bloemfontein, is now under the ownership of Gayton McKenzie’s son, who purchased SuperSport’s status and subsequently rebranded the club.
According to the 2025/26 league draft, Seema’s new team is set to kick off their season against Golden Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 9 August.
This fixture is particularly interesting, as Seema previously coached Golden Arrows from July 2021 to April 2022.
