Tickets Sold Out For Richards Bay And Pirates
Tickets for the Carling Knockout semi-final clash between Richards Bay and Orlando Pirates, set for this coming weekend, have officially sold out.
The highly anticipated match will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday afternoon.
The fixture was moved to the 2010 FIFA World Cup venue due to the expected large turnout, rather than Umhlathuze Sports Ground in Richards Bay, the home venue of the Natal Rich Boyz.
There is little doubt that the majority of tickets were snapped up by Orlando Pirates supporters, with the Buccaneers widely regarded as the favourites to progress to the final.
The second semi-final will also take place in Durban, where Golden Arrows will host Marumo Gallants at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.
The Carling Knockout final is scheduled for 6 December, with the PSL expected to announce the venue next week.
Magesi FC are the defending champions, having beaten Mamelodi Sundowns in last season’s final at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
