12 Players Leave Siwelele
Siwelele have confirmed the departure of 12 players ahead of next season, with three of them joining Orlando Pirates.
The trio heading to Pirates are Ghampani Lungu, Hohlale Ngwato and Neo Rapoo, whose signings were announced by the Soweto giants a few weeks ago.
Thabang Mahlangu is reportedly on his way to Sekhukhune United, where he is expected to link up with Nyiko Mobbie.
The other players leaving the club are Lazola Maku, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Happy Mashiane (who was on loan from Kaizer Chiefs), Pogiso Sanoka, Enoch Quaicoe, Gape Moralo, Keenin Ayer and Lyle Lakay.
Moralo is set to join AmaZulu, with the club expected to confirm his signing soon.
Lakay and Sanoka, who both arrived from SuperSport United when Siwelele acquired the club’s top-flight status ahead of last season, are currently without clubs.
“Farewell and thank you,” the club said in a statement announcing the players’ departures.
Meanwhile, Siwelele have strengthened their squad by signing Thabiso Sesane and Selaelo Rasebotja from Orlando Pirates, with the Buccaneers confirming both transfers on Monday.
