Pirates Confirm Seven Key Departures
Orlando Pirates have announced the departure of seven players, including Thabiso Sesane, who has joined Siwelele FC ahead of the new season.
Sesane suffered an ACL injury during the 2024/25 campaign and did not make a single appearance last season as the Buccaneers completed a historic treble, including ending their 14-year wait for the league title.
Selaelo Rasebotja, who also sustained an ACL injury and is in need of regular game time, has likewise joined Siwelele FC for the upcoming season.
Also departing the club is Siyabong Ndlovu, who has completed a move to Sekhukhune United after spending last season on loan at Magesi FC, who were relegated.
Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm movements around the team ahead of the start of the new season.
The Club can confirm that the following players have left the club to pursue their careers elsewhere:

- Selaelo Rasebotja (Siwelele FC)
- Siyabonga Ndlozi (Sekhukhune United)
- Gomolemo Khoto (Sekhukhune United)
- Sonwabo Khumalo (Midlands)
- Blessing Ngiba (Midlands)
- Seth Green (Durban City)
Each of these players has made a valuable contribution to the Club during their time at Orlando Pirates, both on and off the field, and their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
