Official: Mngqithi Announced As Arrows Coach Ahead Of Sundowns Clash

Lamontville Golden Arrows has officially announced the return of coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
As previously reported by Sportswire, Mngqithi has rejoined the club he holds dear.
This marks Mngqithi’s third stint with Arrows, where he will be assisted by Musa Bilankulu and Kagiso Dikgacoi.
Mngqithi has been without a club since his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns in December last year, following a slow start to their CAF Champions League group stage campaign. He spent 12 years at Sundowns, winning nine league titles, the CAF Champions League, and the CAF Super Cup in various roles.
He now returns to Arrows, the team he led to the MTN8 title in the 2009/10 season with a decisive victory over Ajax Cape Town at Orlando Stadium. Musa Bilankulu, who came off the bench in that final, is the only remaining former player from that squad still at the club.
Notably, Mngqithi’s first match back in charge of Arrows will be against his former club, Mamelodi Sundowns, in the Betway Premiership at Mpumalanga Stadium on Wednesday.
