Arrows Set To Complete Ex-Sundowns Goalkeeper

Golden Arrows are stepping up their preparations and are close to signing goalkeeper Sanele Tshabalala.
Tshabalala will be reunited with his former coach Manqoba Mngqithi, as they previously worked together at Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 27-year-old was released by Sundowns at the end of last season alongside Thabang Sibanyoni, Sifiso Ngobeni, Lucas Suarez, Lebohang Maboe, Rivaldo Coetzee, and Sipho Mbule.
Tshabalala, who Sundowns signed from Moroka Swallows, left the African giants without featuring in a single match for the club.
At Arrows, Tshabalala will join recent signings such as Junior Dion, Yakho Singho, Jerome Karelse, and Osborne Maluleka. Mngqithi, who was dismissed by Sundowns last December after a shaky start to their season, will be looking to integrate these new players seamlessly.
Arrows fans will get their first glimpse of these new additions during the KZN Premier’s Cup this coming weekend in Richards Bay. Arrows are scheduled to face AmaZulu in a playoff match this Saturday at 11:00 AM, with the winner advancing to the semi-final on Sunday.
Golden Arrows will then kick off their new season with an away match against newly formed side Siwelele FC at Lucas Moripe Stadium on 2 August.
