Sekhukhune Sign Duo From Stellenbosch FC

Sekhukhune United have continued their busy transfer activity, securing the signings of Lesiba Nku and Thato Khiba from Stellenbosch FC.
Nku, who initially joined Stellenbosch in the second half of last season from Mamelodi Sundowns, found himself frozen out of the squad in November during Steve Barker’s tenure as head coach. He was sidelined alongside Bradley Mojela, who has since also joined Sekhukhune United.
Khiba, who moved to Stellenbosch from TS Galaxy at the start of last season, joins Sekhukhune in what is understood to be a transfer involving a fee.
“Sekhukhune United welcomes Lesiba ‘Di Maria’ Nku and Thato ‘Mbese Mbese’ Khiba to the family,” the club said in a statement.
“The midfield duo joins Babina Noko from Stellenbosch FC as we strengthen the squad heading into the second half of the season. Babina Noko looks forward to your contribution, gentlemen.”
The 29-year-old Nku made 35 appearances, scoring two goals, while Khiba featured in 43 matches, registering three goals and one assist.
The pair will be hoping to make their debuts when Sekhukhune United visit TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.
