Arrows Confirm Dladla’s Technical Team

Golden Arrows have confirmed the technical backroom staff for newly appointed head coach Pitso Dladla.

Dladla has roped in James Madidilane as his assistant coach, while Jacob Mokhasi joins the stable as the new goalkeeper coach.

Mokhasi makes the switch to Lamontville after parting ways with Marumo Gallants. Meanwhile, Madidilane most recently served as the assistant coach for the Lesotho national team.

For local football fans, Madidilane will be highly remembered for his playing days as a star right-back for Bloemfontein Celtic.

Backroom Overhaul at Lamontville

The incoming duo replaces the outgoing technical trio of assistant coaches Musa Bilankulu and Kagiso Dikgacoi, alongside goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo.

This backroom shake-up completes a total overhaul for Abafana Bes’Thende ahead of the new campaign. Dladla recently took the hot seat to succeed Manqoba Mngqithi, who vacated his post at the end of last term.

Dladla arrived in Lamontville on the back of a historic season with rivals Durban City, whom he guided to an eighth-place finish and a dramatic Nedbank Cup triumph.

Following his high-profile exit, Durban City have since filled their coaching vacancy by appointing former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef.
