Bafana Bafana players Elias Mokwana and Cassius Mailula had stellar performances on Saturday in their respective games in the CAF Champions League and Botola Premier League for the clubs. 

Mokwana, a former Sekhukhune United winger, continued his great work in the CAF Champions League, scoring a great goal in the 48th minute against the Egyptian giant Pyramid. 

Mokwana’s side Espérance Sportive de Tunis secured an important 2-0 victory on Saturday and they are now on top of their group with seven points. 

Meanwhile, the former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Mailula helped Rulani Mokwana’s Wydad Athletic Club secure a massive 3-0 victory against JS Soualem to move into position number three in the Botola League. 

Oussama Zemraoui, Mehdi El Moubarik, and Sidi Bouna scored the three winning goals, while Mailula assisted the two goals of Moubarik and Bouna. Following Wydad’s victory, the Moroccan giant is now five points behind the log table toppers RS Berkane.
