Bay Bolsters Squad With Another Signing
KwaZulu-Natal side Richards Bay continues to strengthen its squad, confirming the signing of attacking midfielder Siyabonga Nzama from Milford FC.
This move was anticipated, as chairman Sifiso Biyela had indicated earlier this month during the unveiling of other new players that the club was still active in the transfer market.
Biyela has delivered on that promise by adding Nzama, who was part of the Milford FC side that famously stunned Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 round with a 5-4 penalty shootout victory in the 2023/24 season at FNB Stadium.
Nzama joins an impressive list of new signings for Richards Bay, including Gabadinho Mhango, Lindo Mtshali, Thabani Zuke, Benson Mangolo, Halalisani Vilakazi, Ntokozo Nzama, Sboniso Madonsela, Philani Khumalo, Lundi Mahala, Mbulelo Nombengula, and Olwethu Mbambo.
Fans might see Nzama in action when Richards Bay participates in the KZN Premier’s Cup this coming weekend.
Bay will face newly promoted side Midlands Wonderers in the semi-final of the pre-season tournament at Umhlathuze Stadium on Sunday at 9 AM.
