Ben Youssef: We Didn’t Sign Morris

Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has revealed a shocking statement about Tashreeq Morris and Congolese speedy winger Christan Saile.
Morris is set to join Chiefs from SuperSport United and Saile is set to head in the opposition direction.
The former joined SuperSport in October last year on a free transfer following his departure from Sekhukhune United at the end of last season.
The former Babina Noko talisman has scored two goals in nine appearances for Gavin Hunt’s side this season and one of those came against Chiefs in the league match.
However, Khalil said he hadn’t seen Morris and last saw him when they played against SuperSport, and Saile is still in Naturena.
“We signed Morris, really? If I may ask when did we sign him because I was working right now but I didn’t see him,” Khalil bizarrely responded on Thursday.
“I didn’t see Morris with us, I only saw him when we played against them. As for Saile, he is with us and was with me in the morning.”
Meanwhile, Saile, who played regularly last season, missed Amakhosi’s games against Stellenbosch, Golden Arrows, and Sekhukhune United.
The Congolese player last played in Chiefs’ 1-0 loss to Cape Town City in their first game of the year.
Morris, on the other side, was not available for SuperSport United’s game against Polokwane City on Friday. Morris is currently suspended due to a red card he got against his former club Sekhukhune on 12 January.
