Chiefs Bolster Attack With Signing Of Congolese International

Kaizer Chiefs have made a swift and decisive move to strengthen their attacking options by signing Congolese international Glody Makabi Lilepo from French club Valenciennes FC.
This exciting acquisition of a globally experienced player marks Amakhosi’s first signing of the January transfer window as they continue to assemble a squad of high quality.
Born 27 years ago in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lilepo primarily operates as a goal-scoring right winger known for his thrilling dribbling skills that are sure to excite Amakhosi supporters.
With 11 international caps for his country, the attacker has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club, which includes an option to extend for an additional season. He has made a significant impact at Valenciennes this season, featuring in 16 matches and contributing four goals and two assists.
Prior to his move to France, Lilepo honed his skills at Al Hilal in Sudan and AS Vita in his homeland, bringing valuable expertise to both clubs in various competitions.
He also boasts a wealth of experience in the prestigious CAF Champions League, representing both Al Hilal and AS Vita. Notably, he scored an impressive eight goals in just 16 matches for Al Hilal in Africa’s premier club competition.
