Morris Joins Chiefs In A Swap Deal From SuperSport

Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed the acquisition of striker Tashreeq Morris during the January transfer window.
This follows a thorough review of Morris’s potential and on-field skills by Coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team, who identified the need to bolster their attacking options.
Morris, who previously excelled at SuperSport United, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Amakhosi, keeping him at the club until 30 June 2027. This move is part of a strategic player swap deal, with striker Christian Saile moving to SuperSport United in exchange.
Born in Cape Town, Morris has showcased his talent at various clubs, including Ajax Cape Town, Cape Town City, Sekhukhune United, and most recently, SuperSport United. He has successfully completed his medical assessments and is set to join the team for training next week.
“We would like to welcome Tashreeq to the Amakhosi family and look forward to his contributions in the upcoming matches. He is an experienced striker who came highly recommended by coach Nabi and his technical team after their assessment. We wish him all the best in the Gold & Black colours while here with us,” says Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr.
It has been a busy day at Naturena as Morris joins Thabo Cele and Congolese international Glody Makabi Lilepo from French club Valenciennes FC.
