Chiefs Bolster Squad With Ndlovu Signing

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of Siphesihle Ndlovu from SuperSport United, making him the sixth new player to join the Amakhosi ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Ndlovu joins Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane, both acquired from Orlando Pirates. The club also secured Ethan Chislett from Port Vale in England and Portuguese striker Flávio Silva from Persebaya Surabaya in Indonesia.
The sixth new addition is Nkanyiso Shinga, a KZN Academy graduate who was signed from Portuguese club FC Alverca.
“Kaizer Chiefs’ blueprint for strengthening the squad ahead of the new 2025/26 season continues to take shape with the acquisition of Siphesihle Ndlovu,” the club stated.
“Previously with SuperSport United, for whom he played 28 matches in all competitions last season, the energetic midfielder will add skill and valuable experience to Amakhosi’s midfield. The 28-year-old, who was born in Pietermaritzburg, is set to join his new teammates in the Netherlands within the next few days once all travel arrangements have been finalized.”
The Chiefs squad has already departed for a pre-season camp in the Netherlands, where they are scheduled to play four friendly matches before returning to South Africa. Fans will have their first opportunity to see Ndlovu and the other new signings in action during the Toyota Cup match against Asante Kotoko on 26 July at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Notably, Ndlovu is the third player to be signed by Chiefs who previously played for Pirates. The former Maritzburg United midfielder, who was named the PSL Midfielder of the Season in the 2017/18 season, featured in 78 matches for SuperSport, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
