Chiefs Release Four Players
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed the release of Njabulo Ngcobo, Keagan Dolly, Sifiso Hlanti, and Siyethemba Sithebe.
All four players’ contracts expired at the end of the season. Unlike the others, Ngcobo has reportedly signed a three-year deal with Sekhukhune United, according to Sportswire.
This player release comes after Chiefs’ worst-ever PSL finish, placing 10th last season.
“The club has conducted discussions with various players’ representatives and technical staff regarding their respective contractual situations. There have been some decisions made, though, and the following players have been released at the end of their contracts,” Chiefs said in a statement.
Rumors suggest Dolly might join SuperSport United, while Sithebe could return to AmaZulu.
