Former Sundowns Player Facing The Exit Door At Pirates

Orlando Pirates winger Katlego Otladisa is headed out the exit door, Sportswire has been informed.

Otladisa’s future at the Soweto Giants has been up in the air for several weeks, as he has not been involved in six games that his team has played so far in the 2024/25 season.

Since the arrival of Gilberto from Petro de Luanda and Selaelo Rasebotja from SuperSport United, the former Mamelodi Sundowns winger has fallen to coach Riveiro’s pecking order.

Strong indications are that the player could finally be moving on from the Buccaneers, with Sportswire source revealing that an exit is close to being finalized.

Otladisa, who joined Pirates from Marumo Gallants at the start of last season, has struggled for game time having made only nine appearances during the 2023/24 campaign.

According to a source close to the Sea Robbers, the 27-year-old is likely to be loaned out and Golden Arrows has been mentioned as he still has two years on his contract with the club.

Pirates have already parted ways with Lesedi Kapinga, Thabang Monare, Fortune Makaringe, Kermit Erasmus, and Richard Ofori among others.
