“I Want To See The Trophy” – Beganovic Issues Bold Double-Target Warning Ahead of Milford Clash

TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has boldly set his sights on winning the Nedbank Cup and securing a top-eight league finish, expressing unwavering belief that his side can achieve both targets this season.
The Rockets head into their crucial Nedbank Cup semifinal against Milford, a Motsepe Foundation Championship side, at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium on Sunday.
With a place in the final at stake, Galaxy is determined to take a significant step toward ending their trophy drought while also improving their league standing.
The Rockets last lifted silverware in 2019 when they won the Nedbank Cup under the guidance of Dan Malesela.
On that historic occasion, they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in the final while still competing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, becoming the first team in South African football history to win the competition from the first division.
In the Betway Premiership, Galaxy have shown consistency in recent seasons, finishing inside the top eight in the last two campaigns. However, the current season has proven more challenging, with the team sitting in 11th place.
Despite this, the Bosnian mentor remains optimistic that his side can climb the standings and secure another top-eight finish while pushing for cup success.
“We want to put more attention to the Cup game based on what we want to do until the end of the season,” he said.
“Obviously, we have quality. I believe, based on how we started, we can finish this season well, and we can reach what we want. We always talk about our goals, we follow our goals, and then sometimes it is not possible to reach our goals, but being close to them will be something good.
“We can’t always be sure of what is going to happen, but we need to stick to our goals; that is the most important thing. We rebuild our team all the time, we try to improve our game model and philosophy, and then sometimes we need time to be on top.
“It is a lot of work, but we don’t give up. We are there, we work, we fight every day. There are some tough and good moments, but at the end of the day, we want to finish the season well. I also want to see the trophy and reach the top eight as well, and I believe we can do that.”
With belief running high in the camp, Galaxy will be eager to turn words into action as they chase both silverware and a strong league finish.
