“Like The Military”: Ben Youssef Hails Chiefs’ Discipline After Reaching 50-Point Milestone

Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has acknowledged that the team achieved one of its main objectives for the season following their 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
The win secured Chiefs automatic qualification for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Amakhosi are currently third on the table with 51 points from 28 matches, reaching the 50-point mark for the first time in six years.
“I think we discussed this season that the minimum we had to achieve was qualification,” Ben Youssef told SuperSport.
“Now we have achieved that target. We said the first thing we had to do was compete in CAF competition. That is the minimum requirement for the fans, for the team, and for one of the biggest clubs in South Africa and Africa.
“Now we have to remember there are still two games left. We must stay focused and continue fighting for maximum points.”
Ben Youssef also praised Tashreeq Morris, who had not featured regularly for the club this season but scored one of the goals against Sekhukhune.
“You know, Morris was out of the squad for many games, but when the team needed him, he was ready,” said Ben Youssef.
“I always tell the players that we are like the military — when the team needs you, you must be ready at any time.”
