Mbule’s Future Hangs In The Balance As Chiefs Weigh Options

Sipho Mbule’s agent, Mike Makaab, has shed light on his client’s future, revealing that the 27-year-old midfielder has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs.

Mbule, a former SuperSport United player, found himself without a team after his recent departure from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 27-year-old was loaned to Sekhukhune United at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, but his stint was cut short due to disciplinary issues.

The talented midfielder’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges.

Mbule faced suspension in March for misconduct, and Sekhukhune United ultimately decided to part ways with him in May.

Since his release, Mbule hasn’t trained with Sundowns, leaving his future with the Brazilians uncertain.

In a recent statement, Makaab set the record straight about Mbule’s potential move to Chiefs.

“Let me set the record straight,” Makaab admitted on X.

“Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club to make the decision, and we need to respect that decision.”

Makaab emphasized that Chiefs is a professional football club, and their decisions will be based on what’s best for the club.

Makaab’s primary concern is to do what’s best for his client while maintaining a professional relationship with the clubs he deals with.

“I am not trying to influence anything,” Makaab added.

“Realistically, no matter what I say, I will never please everyone. My job is to do the best for my clients while respecting the football clubs I deal with.”

With Mbule’s future hanging in the balance, all eyes are on Amakhosi’s decision. Will they take a chance on the talented midfielder, or will they look elsewhere? Only time will tell.

One thing is certain, though – Mbule’s career is at a crossroads, and the outcome will have significant implications for his future in football.
