MTN8 Semifinal Draw Details Confirmed

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the MTN8 semifinal draw will take place on Sunday following the final quarterfinal fixture.

The draw will take place immediately after Kaizer Chiefs face Golden Arrows at FNB Stadium on Sunday evening. Unlike other domestic cup competitions, the MTN8 semifinals are played over two legs on a home-and-away basis.

Orlando Pirates kick off the MTN8 quarterfinal weekend when they host Durban City at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday afternoon. The Buccaneers enter the tournament chasing a record-extending fifth consecutive title.

Later on Saturday, Mamelodi Sundowns host Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the evening fixture.

Action continues on Sunday as 2022/23 finalists AmaZulu welcome Sekhukhune United to Chatsworth Stadium. Chiefs and Arrows will then conclude the quarterfinal weekend in Soweto, with the semifinal draw following immediately after the final whistle.

The MTN8 features the top eight teams from the previous league season competing for early-season silverware.
