Pirates Suffer 8 Players Due To Injuries
Orlando Pirates has been dealt yet another injury blows ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal
clash against SuperSport United with eight players set to miss the clash at Orlando Stadium on Saturday (18:00).
According to the Bucs medical team, it has revealed that right back Thabiso Lebitso has been ruled out of the clash against Matsatsantsa after failing to recover from an injury he suffered in the preseason friendly against Al Sadd last month.
The hard-working right back was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from defender Musaab Khidir.
As a result of that tackle, the Bucs medical team has confirmed that Lebitso has suffered a knee injury which rules him out for at least three months.
Another casualty to come out of the match against Al Sadd is Miguel Timm who is set to undergo a late fitness test. The 32-year-old is currently nursing an ankle injury.
