Sekhukhune Bring Back Seema And Tembo

Sekhukhune United has announced significant changes to its coaching staff, bringing back Lehlohonolo Seema as head coach and Kaitano Tembo as senior coach.

McDonald Makhubedu has been reassigned to the role of sporting director.

Seema previously managed Sekhukhune before being replaced by Peter Hyballa, whose tenure was short-lived. Tembo also has experience with the club, having served as head coach at the start of the 2022/23 season.

The coaching changes come after Sekhukhune’s early confusing which led to their exit from the MTN8 competition under Makhubedu. Seema’s first match in charge will be against the winner of Elgeco Plus or Desportivo de Lunda-Sul in the CAF Confederation Cup second round on 13 September.

The club’s opening league match of the 2024/25 season will be against Magesi FC on 18 September.
