Soccer Africa Returns Finally

The long-awaited football magazine show on SuperSport is set to return to our screens on Thursday in the new time slot of 21:00 CAT.

The adjustment of the new time slot is due to the show wanting to accommodate other parts of the continent, especially the East region which has constantly complained about the show being late since East Africa is one hour ahead of South Africa where the show is being produced.

The show will still be anchored by the super-energetic Thomas Mlambo. The full panelist is made up of award-winning journalist Thomas Kwenaite, The assassin of Abidjan Mamadou Gaye, and African football strategist Sudesh Singh.

The new addition to the panel is Ashley Nakazwe who originates from Zambia, this addition has been long overdue especially since the women’s game is growing at a rapid pace in Africa.

The African queen of football Ashley is affectionately known, she is expected to bring 360 coverage of women’s games around the globe but focuses being Africa.

Besides being the longest-running football show on SuperSport, this season Soccer Africa is chasing a huge milestone of 1000 episodes.

Another prominent feature that the show has received applause for is the “FA in focus” feature.

The feature is meant to hold football leaders such as FA president accountable for the promises they made when voted to power. The show will come live immediately after the new football meet lifestyle show “the line up” that starts at 20:00 CAT
