Soweto Derby Headliner! Diski Challenge Returns After Administrative Delays
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially confirmed that the 2026/27 DStv Diski Challenge season will kick off this Saturday.
This follows the resolution of behind-the-scenes administrative issues that had delayed the release of the fixture list.
The reserve league campaign launches with an opening-weekend festival headlined by a high-stakes Soweto Derby in KwaMashu, where defending champions Orlando Pirates take on Kaizer Chiefs at Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday.
The season will run through to 16 May 2027, concluding with a mouthwatering final-day showdown between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Buccaneers enter the campaign as defending champions, having claimed their maiden Diski Challenge title last season.
