Stellenbosch Confirms Third Signing
Stellenbosch FC have officially confirmed the signing of striker Lehlohonolo Mojela from TS Galaxy.
The move bolsters Steve Barker’s squad after their impressive third-place finish last season. This finish secured them a spot in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
Mojela’s arrival strengthens Stellenbosch’s attacking options. He impressed last season, scoring seven goals in 34 matches across all competitions for TS Galaxy. His contribution helped Tim Sukazi’s team achieve their best ever finish, reaching the top eight in the league.
“We are delighted to bolster our attacking line-up by welcoming Lehlohonolo to the club,” said Stellenbosch FC CEO Rob Benadie. “He is a dynamic player who we have been tracking for some time. We believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad and will aid the Club in its ambitions to compete on all fronts.”
Mojela becomes Stellenbosch’s third signing this transfer window, following the acquisitions of Sanele Barns from Richards Bay and Omega Mdaka, previously of Kaizer Chiefs.
