Sundowns Complete Their First Portuguese Signing, One To Go

Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their third signing of the season on the last day of the PSL transfer window.
The club unveiled Nuno Santos, a Portuguese international who joins the team after a reported transfer fee of over R20 million was paid to Vitória SC.
Santos’s Background and Other Signings
The 26-year-old Santos, a former Benfica under-19 player, was a key member of the Portugal squads that won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2015/16 and the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2017/18.
Santos is the third new player to join Sundowns this season, following Katlego Ntsabeleng, who arrived on loan from FC Dallas, and Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch.
Potential Fourth Signing
Sundowns are also interested in signing another Portuguese international, Miguel Reisinho. Since Reisinho is a free agent after leaving Boavista at the end of last season, there is no pressure to complete the transfer before the window closes. The player has reportedly traveled to South Africa to finalize the move.
