Pirates Follow Sundowns, Chiefs To Tie Deals With Car Partnership

Orlando Pirates have teamed up with car manufacturer Suzuki South Africa as their official vehicle partner.
This exciting deal was announced on the same day their new 2025/26 season kits were unveiled and went on sale. While the terms remain undisclosed, Suzuki’s logo will prominently feature on the sleeve of the Buccaneers’ shirts this upcoming season.
This development follows one of the Soweto Giants’ most successful seasons in recent memory. Last term, Pirates reached the CAF Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2013, though they ultimately fell to Pyramids after conceding three goals in the away leg.
Despite that, their second-place finish in the Betway Premiership ensures their return to CAF club competition next season.
Adding to their achievements, Pirates made history by winning the MTN8 for the third consecutive time, defeating Stellenbosch right here in Durban.
They also came incredibly close to securing a third successive Nedbank Cup, but lost to rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the final.
“Isukile! We’re proud to embark on an exciting new journey with Orlando Pirates as their official vehicle partner. A new season with a partnership ready to drive the game forward,” Suzuki stated.
Pirates are now among the latest PSL clubs to secure a vehicle sponsorship. Recently promoted Durban City also sealed a partnership with BMW Supertech, while AmaZulu have a vehicle deal with Mitsubishi, Kaizer Chiefs with Toyota, and Sundowns recently joined forces with Cherry SA.
Fans will get their first look at the Pirates in their new shirts, featuring the Suzuki logo, when they host Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarter-final at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, 2 August.
