MTN8 Quarter-Final Dates And Venues Confirmed

The dates and venues for the MTN8 quarter-finals have been confirmed for the upcoming season, with defending champions Orlando Pirates kicking things off next month.
As Sportswire has seen the fixtures, Orlando Pirates, who have won the MTN8 for the past three seasons, will host Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, 2 August, at 3:00 PM.
On the same day, Sekhukhune United will host TS Galaxy at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium at 6:00 PM.
The action continues the following day, Sunday, 3 August. Stellenbosch, who lost to Pirates in last season’s final, will host AmaZulu, losing finalists in the 2022/23 season, at DHL Stadium at 3:00 PM.
Later that Sunday, Mamelodi Sundowns, who last won this cup in the 2021/22 season, will host Richards Bay at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 6:00 PM.
Richards Bay finished in the top eight for the first time in the club’s history last term, but they face a formidable Sundowns side, against whom they have lost every match since their first encounter in 2021.
These quarter-final matches will precede the start of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
