Pirates Consider Loan Move For Ndlondlo

Orlando Pirates are considering loaning out Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo to Marumo Gallants.
This could also be a viable option for Pirates to sell him now, as his contract expires at the end of the season, and the likelihood of him being retained is slim.
Ndlondlo has seen limited game time this season, featuring for only 14 minutes in the league and 90 minutes in the CAF Champions League (during the preliminary round).
His league minutes came against AmaZulu in October, where Mohau Nkota scored twice at Orlando Stadium after Ndlondlo was brought on as a substitute.
He faces stiff competition in the midfield department, with Thalente Mbatha, Kabelo Dlamini, and Makhehleni Makhaula enjoying the preference of coach Jose Riveiro this season.
Other midfield options available to Riveiro include Miguel Timm, Azola Tsheobeni, and Goodman Mosele, all of whom have struggled for consistent playing time this season.
The 29-year-old Ndlondlo joined Pirates from Gallants ahead of the 2022/23 season, along with Timm and Katlego Otladisa.
Ndlondlo not only played for Gallants but also scored a crucial goal when they, then known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, won the Nedbank Cup under former coach Dylan Kerr in the 2020/21 season against Chippa United.
In the following season, Ndlondlo helped Gallants reach another Nedbank Cup final under current coach Dan Malesela, although they lost to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Since his arrival at Pirates two and a half seasons ago, Ndlondlo has won two more Nedbank Cups and three MTN8 trophies with the Soweto Giants.
He has featured in 54 matches across all competitions, scoring just three goals and providing three assists for the club.
