Sekhukhune Sign Ivorian Winger

Sekhukhune United have announced their second signing of the transfer window, confirming the arrival of Ivorian-born winger Amedé Tidiane Diomandé.

The 26-year-old joins the Limpopo-based side from Ivory Coast outfit Stade d’Abidjan. Diomandé has now played for four clubs in his home country, having previously featured for ASEC Mimosas, FC San Pedro and Williamsville AC.

He has also had a stint abroad with Armenian club Shirak Gyumri.

In addition, Sekhukhune United confirmed on Thursday the return of Andy Boyeli following the end of his loan spell at Tanzanian giants Young Africans.

Diomandé becomes the club’s second signing of the current window, following the arrival of Lehlohonolo Mojela from Stellenbosch FC, as Eric Tinkler looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the second half of the season.

Sekhukhune United’s first match of 2026 after the Africa Cup of Nations will be against Stellenbosch FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 20 January.
